I started the Tower Programme in January 2013. I wanted to move forward with my life and get my FETAC certificate and Tower Programme has helped me every step of the way. I came to the programme as an everyday student and the rest of the participants nominated me as class president, this involves me attending various meetings and discussing different matters. One of the things I helped negotiate was a “fry” on the last Friday of each month, which is very much appreciated. I hope to complete my FETAC and get my ECDL, as I think it will be of great benefit to me in finding a job in the future. - Group C Rep
The Tower Programme to finish Fetac Level 4. I do Woodwork, Art, Maths, Health Related Fitness, Personal Effectiveness, Preparation for Work and Communications. I also do one to one counselling sessions to improve mental health. When I leave here I want to get a job in gardening / landscaping or working with animals. - Group B Rep
I have been attending the Tower Programme for the last year, during that time I have completed my Certificate at Level 4 which is equivalent to my leaving cert. It is very helpful as I’m not sure what career path to choose, I get to do research and I get help from my key worker trying to figure this out. It’s getting me ready for work placement, as I am interested in a lot of different things right now. I am confident that this course will leave me with plenty of options, as I want to continue with my education once I leave the Tower Programme. - Group C Rep
